Our Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions. Please read through these carefully before placing your online wine, spirit or beer order and then keep a copy for future reference. These terms and conditions are here to help you complete a successful online purchase and are in place for your protection.
General
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice. Alterations or changes to prices, products, terms and conditions will be posted to the web and your continued trading with us shall signify your acceptance of the latest terms and conditions.
Orders / Payment
We have tried to ensure that shopping online with Fine Wines is as enjoyable and rewarding and experience as if you were in one of our stores. You can browse through our products, pick the products you want to purchase, store them in your virtual basket and when you have finished your proceed to checkout and pay. We have a “Search” facility for those of you who now what you want and would like to go directly to that product just type in the product name, country of origin, Grape variety or all of the above and you will be directed to the product you are looking for. When you have found what you are looking for change the quantity to suit and just click the “Add to Basket” button. As you add more items to your basket you will see a running total. You can change or edit your basket contents before you finish checkout, by clicking the item and either increase or decrease the quantity required you basket running total will automatically update. If you have everything you need proceed to “Checkout”. Here you can double check your contents before you checkout, if you are happy click “Checkout”. When you are in the final checkout stage you will be asked a few simple questions regarding payment and shipping. You may send your purchases to your home, or ship to a different recipient address by filling in the delivery details in the box provided. You may also enclose a personalised message by typing your greeting in the box provided.
To pay for your order just follow the on screen instructions. We accept the following cards: Visa, Mastercard and Laser.
Delivery
How much does a delivery cost?
Delivery is FREE on all orders of 12 bottles or more (any order over 12 bottles must be in multiples of 6 and is for wine orders only). Orders less than 12 bottles will incur a delivery charge of €4.95.
All deliveries on spirits or beers will incur a €4.95 delivery charge.
How soon can I get it?
Fine Wines operate a 24HR (next day) delivery service on all orders placed before 2pm and a 48HR service on all orders placed after 2pm. ( depending of your location some orders may take 72hrs).
Multi Drop Delivery:
If you want to place the same order to go to more than one recipient you do not have to start a new order. Fine Wines offers you the service of allowing you to deliver the same order to multiple addresses whilst only processing one transaction. After you select the goods you want to buy simply select “Ship to different Address”, enter the names, addresses and contact numbers for the persons you wish to deliver to and we take care of the rest.
Dispatch Number:
Your order can be checked online using your unique dispatch number which is mailed to you when your goods are dispatched. You can use our “Track and Trace” facility via a link to our courier’s website. www.fastway.ie. You can contact us at sales@finewines.ie or on Lo Call 1850417784.
Returns
How do I return goods?
Although great care is taken in the preparation and dispatch of your order from time to time it may no reach you in the condition you expected, if this is the case you must contact us within 5 working days on 1850 417784.
We will replace or refund any goods dispatched incorrectly, only when we have received the original goods will we process the return. (Fine Wines will incur any delivery charge associated)
Returns for any other reason will be replaced or refunded once we have received the original goods in this case the delivery cost will be incurred by you.
For you convenience we can arrange our delivery partner Fastway couriers to uplift these returns at a cost of €4.95.
Goods must be received within 10 working days in all instances.
Goods must be in their original packing with all delivery labels attached and a copy of the original invoice.
